PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE The City of Shelbyville will hold a Public Meeting on the Tennessee Alternatives Grant Program, Phase IV, Design Concepts of the Sidewalks of the Square This Public Hearing will be held at the Shelbyville Police Department Court Room, 109 Lane Parkway, Shelbyville, TN on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 beginning at 1:00 PM. The purpose of the meeting is to review and accept comments on the Design Concepts for the Enhancement of Sidewalks for the Public Square. This project is to include new concrete sidewalks on all four sides of the Public Square to enhance safety and accessibility for pedestrians, to create new and better defined pedestrian crosswalk areas, bringing all Sidewalk areas into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), to install new decorative lighting, new landscaping, and defined traffic flow markings. All comments received, both written and verbal, will be made as part of the record and presented to the Mayor and City Council for consideration at their regular monthly meeting on May 9th at 6:00 PM.
